The Bible Marathon has an official song!
You can read the lyrics below the video…
Verse 1
We come just as we are, Lord,
Needing truth to light the way,
Your Word is life within us,
Bread for every day.
From the first page to the last,
Every promise still the same,
You are speaking, You are moving,
Through the power of Your Name.
Chorus
So God, would You lead us,
We’re trusting in Your plan,
Let Your Word go out in power
Across every land.
If You build it, we will follow,
If You speak, we will obey,
Use the Bible Marathon
By Your grace, Lord, we pray.
Verse 2
There are hearts that read in silence,
Holding hope in fragile hands,
Would You send Your Word to find them
Just the way You always planned.
For the church that’s in the shadows,
For the faith that must be strong,
Let Your truth be light and freedom
Where Your children still belong.
Chorus
So God, would You lead us,
We’re trusting in Your plan,
Let Your Word go out in power
Across every land.
If You build it, we will follow,
If You speak, we will obey,
Use the Bible Marathon
By Your grace, Lord, we pray.
Bridge
If You move two hundred thousand hearts,
We will place it in Your hands,
Five small dollars, multiplied,
To fulfill what You command.
A hundred thousand Bibles, Lord,
Only You can make it true,
We say yes to what You’re asking,
Now the rest is up to You.
Final Chorus
So God, would You lead us,
This is all we ask today,
Let Your Word run free in mercy,
Let Your Kingdom make a way.
All the glory, all the honor,
Every step along the way,
Use the Bible Marathon
By Your grace, Lord, we pray.
Outro
By Your grace, Lord, we pray.
